Dr. Courtney Holmberg is not your typical naturopath in Toronto. She’s a licensed naturopathic doctor who specializes in providing natural support for modern women with digestion and hormone issues.
But what’s even better is she also offers other services, such as comprehensive testing and managing autoimmunity. Her over a decade of experience in diagnosing and treating complex issues has earned her a spot in our books!
It’s also worth noting that she has personal experience dealing with PCOS and IBS. During our inquiry, we loved how professional yet personal her approach was, which showed her deep understanding and compassion for her clients.
She offers virtual and in-office consultations. However, we found that in-office visits have limited availability and are booked four to six weeks in advance.
On a positive note, her rates are within the competitive range in Toronto, which we appreciate—it’s $230 for an office consult. Honestly, her compassionate approach and reasonable fees are worth all the wait!
Pros
- Specializes in natural support for women
- Known for a compassionate approach
- Rates are reasonable
- Office and Virtual consults are available
Cons
- Weeks of waiting for a consultation
Compassionate and professional
“Dr. Holmberg is a warm and compassionate health care provider who is extremely knowledgeable and simply an amazing person. Within seconds of seating in her office I felt calm and assured that whatever health issues I had come to her with were going to be looked at with professional and efficient grace. I urge everyone out there to book an appointment with Dr. Holmberg without any delay.”

Looks for the best treatments
“I am so grateful for Dr Holmberg. I have been seeing her for many years and have recommended her to many, many friends. She is truly incredible, patient, thorough and kind. I love that she works with me, and is constantly thoughtfully changing and updating my treatment rather than just putting me on different supplements. You will be so glad to meet with her!”

Here’s what impressed us about Holistix Naturopathic Health Clinic: they’re an award-winning clinic in Toronto! In our books, that shows their naturopathic doctors have proven their expertise.
Service-wise, we were impressed with their specializations. They’re like a one-stop destination for all your holistic needs because they offer homeopathy, botanical medicine, and lifestyle counselling.
Plus, it’s awesome they can treat many health problems, such as hormonal health, stress management, fertility, digestive health, and immune health. Many clients have praised them for successfully treating their conditions.
During our surveys, we were surprised at the naturopaths’ high level of patient care. The overall experience was stress-free!
They’re also accessible, offering in-person and virtual appointments. Their schedule has a lot of slots every week you can choose your preferred time.
However, it’s a bummer their initial consultation is a tad pricier at $325. But if you think about it, that’s worth the money because you basically get an in-depth consultation!
Pros
- Award-winning clinic
- Provides a wide range of services
- Has a vast specialization
- In-person and virtual consults are available
- High level of patient care
Cons
- Initial consultation is pricey
Successfully treated patients
“I’ve been a patient of Dr. Christoforou for a few years now. She is welcoming, attentive, caring and very detail oriented. I had terrible shoulder and elbow pain from years of martial arts. She quickly pinpointed the issues and cured both with all natural shots (Guna). I continue to see her for different issues and she has always helped me with whatever ailment I bring to the table. Excellent experience. PS Her office administrator is amazing as well.”

Creates personalized regimen
“I have hypertension and wanted to lower my BP using natural methods. I booked an appointment with Dr. Belus who took the time to review my medical history, symptoms and diet. She created a personalized regiment for me that included supplements, diet and lifestyle changes. I implemented her recommendations that same day, and within 48hrs my BP readings began to decrease. I have continued with Dr. Belus regiment because it has enabled me to control my hypertension naturally.”

Summerhill Naturopathic Clinic is headed by a licensed and registered naturopathic doctor, Dr. Ashley von Martels, who specializes in women’s health.
What impressed us is her vast specializations, such as PCOS, irregular periods, yeast infections, menstrual cramps, and endometriosis. It’s awesome that her service doesn’t end there.
She also specializes in general health, which means she can treat other conditions. She also treats thyroid conditions, anxiety and depression, digestion, and weight issues.
Her gentle and patient approach won us over. During our research, we learned that she remains personable yet professional during consultations, which many clients have mentioned made them feel at ease.
As for her fees, we love that they remain in the competitive range. A 60-minute initial consultation is $260.
But here’s the kicker: she’s not available for in-person appointments. Unfortunately, she only does virtual consults, which limits her availability, but her quality of service makes up for it!
Pros
- Specializes in women’s health
- Competitive prices
- Known for being personable
Cons
- No in-office appointments
Provides cost-effective permanent solutions
“I have been a patient of Dr. Ashley for 3 years. During this time, she has helped me address my toughest health concerns which includes PCOS, acne, and hormones. I have been to multiple doctors before, but only Dr. Ashley is able to identify the root cause and provide a long-term permanent solution that is all-natural and cost-effective. She is also very understanding regarding budget and would provide you with alternatives if needed. 100% would recommend to my family and friends!”

Higher Health Centre earns a spot on our list because they have a large team of naturopathic doctors. The reason we like that is because you can choose who you feel most comfortable with instead of not having any choices.
Another thing that stands out is their variety of services. They provide naturopathic treatments and other forms of alternative medicine that may work along with your treatment.
These guys also treat a wide range of conditions, such as allergies, anxiety and depression, eczema, digestive health, brain health, and fertility. It makes them an all-in-one destination, no?
But the letdown is the limited availability even though they have a lot of naturopathic doctors. When we inquired, we found out that they don’t accept appointments weeks in advance.
On a positive note, they offer free 15-minute phone consultations, which is a nice way to test the waters if they’re the naturopaths you prefer.
Pros
- Offers free consultations
- Has a large team of naturopaths
- Treats a wide range of conditions
- Offers other kinds of alternative medicine
Cons
- Limited availability
All-around incredible team
“The entire staff team here is incredible. From the receptionists always being so attentive, to Dr. Madeline taking time to care and listen, and not only that but improve my overall health! Cannot recommend this place enough to everyone I know and don’t know. An investment in yourself is always the best choice.”

Friendly and peaceful atmosphere
“I have been seeing Keara for over a year and highly recommend her and the clinic! She is very knowledgeable, caring, friendly and creates a lovely open and comfortable atmosphere. I have done the IV and acupuncture on top of my appointments – whatever I come in for, I always leave feeling heard, reassured and also relaxed! The clinic itself is always peaceful and everyone working there is so welcoming.”

The Crafted Balance Naturopathic Clinic is one of our picks because they offer a bunch of services all about integrative wellness. We appreciate that besides naturopathic medicine, they also offer massage therapy and psychotherapy.
On top of that, they also provide supplements that can help you on your wellness journey. That comes in handy since you get the service and purchase the supplement you need in one stop.
Their specialization focuses on treating hormonal health and chronic pain. But it’s cool that they also help manage digestive issues, skin concerns, and mental wellness.
The quality of service they’ve provided deserves a spotlight. Clients we conversed with praised their naturopaths for providing a very personalized service, which helped them feel welcome and safe.
It’s a plus that they’re easily accessible since they’re in downtown Toronto. In-person, virtual, and same-day appointments are available too!
Their initial assessment is just pricey at $315, but we appreciate their free in-person meet-and-greet consults.
Pros
- Offers free in-person meet and greets
- Supplements available at the clinic
- Provides a wide variety of services
- Conveniently located
- Same-day appointments available
Cons
- Initial assessments are pricey

Kind and patient naturopaths
“Knowledgeable, kind and patient. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Fiona Callender and Crafted Balance. I came in with horrible stomach issues and terrible menstrual cramps which I received great advice and help with. My digestion is now back on track and my period pain has become manageable. Thank you, Dr. Callender!”
