A standout feature we discovered about Trendy Laundromat & Dry Cleaners is that they have a seven-point inspection for every laundry request. 

We like this process because they carefully examine, inspect, and sort laundry to find the best solution for any issues, then finish by folding or hanging them.

We’re also impressed by their versatility in serving various businesses, including rental properties, clubs, Airbnb, medical clinics, beauty salons, gyms, restaurants, offices, condos and senior homes. 

For us, this range of services makes them accessible to almost all potential clients, so that’s a plus!

On that note, a lot of clients we surveyed have shared excellent feedback on Trendy’s pickup and delivery service. We were impressed by the staff’s punctuality as well, making our overall experience even more convenient.  

However, we did notice that their rates are a bit on the higher side than other companies.

Next on our list is WeDoLaundry, a laundry service that has catered to thousands of Torontonians in the past 5 years. From what we’ve seen, they’re not the typical laundry shop.

We’re impressed by their business model, as they aim to help people save time by streamlining the entire laundry pick up and drop off service by having multiple laundromat partners across Toronto.

Here’s how their process goes: a client books a pickup schedule and WeDoLaundry picks up their dirty clothing, takes it to a nearby professional partner laundromat or dry cleaner, and then returns freshly cleaned, fluffed, and folded garments!

Another thing we appreciate is how simple and convenient it is to book and schedule via a website or app. 

Plus, we like that clients can stay in the loop thanks to email and app notifications at every step, from assigning the laundry to a laundromat to notifying the driver for pick up and drop off.

We also think it’s a plus that WeDoLaundry provides pick-up bags, which is a thoughtful touch, especially for those who don’t have their own. Clients can use these bags to stash their dirty laundry, making it hassle-free to hand over to their valet during pick-up.

However, we’re a bit iffy to find that their rates are pricier than most on this list. Their wash and fold service goes for $2.10 per pound, about 50% more than others, and there’s a $12.99 pick-up and delivery fee (waived for laundry over 28 pounds). 

Nonetheless, we can’t deny that WeDoLaundry offers fast and convenient services, especially for those who are short on time!

At DoMyLaundry, they’ve got you covered with a top-notch commercial laundry service for businesses in Toronto. What we appreciate is their team of laundry experts, ready to tackle any order size, whether it’s a cozy office or a bustling hotel.

We also think it’s fantastic that they provide fragrance-free, hypoallergenic laundry service. It’s a real plus for folks with sensitivities or allergies, as it means their laundry gets cleaned without any harsh chemicals or irritating fragrances.

As for their prices, we found out they’re a bit on the higher side, starting at $1.85 to $2.20 for their commercial laundry services. It’s something to consider for businesses on a tight budget.

However, we think it’s a bit of a letdown that they don’t handle restaurant laundry. From our research, we found that it’s just too greasy and smelly for their liking.

On the bright side, we like how their app makes it easier to request pick-up and delivery. It’s a game-changer for clients who don’t want to deal with the hassle of transporting dirty laundry back and forth to their facilities.

All things considered, we believe Do My Laundry is a solid choice, especially for people particular about the type of detergent or products used in the cleaning process. 

Next up, let’s talk about Laundry Concierge. What we appreciate about them is that, unlike other on-demand cleaning services, they have a cleaning facility, which means nothing gets outsourced to a third party—a big plus in terms of quality control.

We’re impressed by their availability, whether you’re at home, in a condo, apartment, office, or out in public – they’re there with open arms for your dry cleaning, dirty laundry, and even neglected shoes. 

From our research, they’re one of the few, if not the only, 24/7 commercial laundry services available in Toronto. 

And here’s another thing we like – they offer a wide range of services. We’re talking about everything from garment care and textile care to shoe care, leather treatments, bridal wear, and even sports equipment.

On the downside, we’re just disappointed to hear some reports about delays in addressing client concerns. Some laundry mix-ups left clients missing items, and it took longer than expected for the company to resolve the issue.

We also think they could work on maintaining more consistent turnaround times, as some clients we surveyed have mentioned experiencing delays.

Despite those hiccups, it’s worth noting they still have a loyal base of repeat clients and steady business. In our books, this aspect speaks volumes about the quality of their service and performance.
