Their services include deep cleaning, ideal for first-time cleans, and offer add-ons such as window washing and cleaning inside ovens. However, we noticed their selection of add-ons is somewhat limited.

On a positive note, they offer maintenance services weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly. We also like their no-contract one-time cleaning, which is great for clients who want to test out their service.

We admire that they developed their own Signature Wash-Dry-Shine Method. It’s their cleaning method that surpasses the traditional spray and wipe techniques, resulting in a sparkling clean home—it’s what they call a Signature Sparkle.

Furthermore, the cleaning teams will roll out their Pink Signature Car fully equipped with cleaning equipment and supplies. This includes professional-grade vacuums—no need for clients to supply anything.

We also like their 100% satisfaction guarantee, allowing clients to report subpar service within 24 hours. The staff will then return at no extra cost.

All things aside, we were saddened that they aren’t available to clean on weekends. In our books, that’s a downside for emergency cleaning for special events.

Polished Cleaning Services caters to residential and commercial clients in Winnipeg and its surrounding areas. They were established in 2009 so we’re pretty confident in their experience!

We also appreciate that their staff is carefully selected and screened through the criminal record and child abuse registries. Additionally, they have WCB coverage and liability insurance, which is pretty reassuring!

It’s notable that Polished Cleaning Services offer in-home estimates that help create a personalized cleaning plan with a cleaning schedule. But we were happy that the self-serve booking is available for those unable to schedule a consultation.

Some of their popular services include flooring strip and wax, as well as carpet and upholstery cleaning. We like that they also offer to remove stubborn spots and stains.

They also offer hoarding cleanups with remediation cleaning. We were impressed to learn that they were even featured in the show Hoarders Canada!

Another aspect we like is their weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly, and monthly maintenance services. Clients can choose their preferred cleaning team, which is ideal for returning clients.

As for their commercial services, we admire their work alongside Manitoba Possible, a non-profit that supports persons with disabilities.

Together, they developed the Clean Ventures program, offering janitorial services to commercial properties while giving opportunities to persons with disabilities.

While we appreciate they’re open daily, we were disappointed to hear some complaints regarding late responses. There were also instances of scheduling miscommunication, unfortunately.

Operating six days a week, Little Luxuries is an award-winning company specializing in residential cleaning. They won the Consumer’s Choice Award for Winnipeg and Greater Region in 2022 and 2023. 

We like their thorough services such as disinfecting sinks and countertops, polishing mirrors, dusting windowsills and furniture, and disposing of garbage. They also offer add-ons, like washing dishes and changing the bedding.

In addition, they vacuum couches for clients with pets. These services are available on a weekly or monthly basis, which we think is great for maintaining a clean home.

Another service of theirs that we appreciate is carpet cleaning, which not all cleaning companies in Winnipeg provide. Plus, this includes spot and stain removal—pretty great, eh?

We also think it’s noteworthy that they sanitize all equipment before entering the client’s home to prevent the transfer of allergens. They even use high-quality equipment, which includes Dyson vacuums.

Moreover, we appreciate their mattress and upholstery cleaning service using the Hygienitech process. It’s an all-natural and chemical-free method that removes dust mites and fungal spores.

A minor hiccup is there were instances of miscommunication regarding the pricing. Also, the clients we surveyed mentioned that Little Luxuries charges a tad higher than other cleaning services in Winnipeg.

K&E Cleaning was founded in 2013, initially offering residential cleaning services. Over the years, they’ve expanded to include commercial and industrial properties—an aspect that tells us that their service is reliable.

Off the bat, we were impressed at their process, which starts with a free in-home consultation to create a personalized cleaning plan. In our opinion, this is ideal for homes in need of a deep clean.

We also like their maintenance cleaning services, available weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. From our surveys, we noted that they provide a thorough service, which includes cleaning sinks, tubs, and toilets.

Their laundry service, which includes washing, drying, and folding, is worth highlighting too. Their staff are trained in laundry procedures and attentive to care tag details, which are essential for delicate clothes.

Another thing we like about them is they provide one-time cleaning for special occasions to ease the burden for their clients—a useful service when the in-laws are visiting.

Aside from standard cleaning, they also offer post-construction and move-in/move-out cleaning. Carpet and upholstery cleaning add-ons are available, which is pretty convenient for clients needing a more thorough service.

Many past clients also commended how accommodating the K&E Cleaning staff was. They even made adjustments based on special requests, which for us, shows professionalism.

Unfortunately, we must mention that some clients expressed disappointment with the scheduling system because the time frames were unpredictable. 

They are also unavailable on weekends, so it’s pretty inconvenient if you’re planning to hire them to clean up after a Friday night party or a Saturday barbecue or soiree.

Mopify is a straightforward residential cleaning service that automatically matches clients to cleaning professionals. They offer maintenance cleaning bi-weekly, weekly, and monthly

We appreciate the easy online appointment system that’s accessible on any device. Plus, we like that they also offer a satisfaction guarantee if you found the results unsatisfactory.

But from what we’ve heard, many clients were happy about their thorough standard cleaning, including scrubbing cabinets, making the beds, tidying up small objects, wiping floors, and vacuuming.

It’s also worth noting that all of Mopify’s cleaners are vetted, so you can be assured of their reliability as they enter your home. 

As for the rates, they charge per hour starting at $27. We’re happy about their transparent pricing because there are no hidden charges. 

A downside we found, though, is they don’t bring their own cleaning supplies. They require a vacuum and mop—and you’ll be charged extra if you can’t provide them.

On a good note, they offer Airbnb cleaning. It’s a thorough service—including changing sheets and doing laundry—that’s ideal for preparation for the next guest.

We also like that Mopify is available every day. They also offer same-day bookings depending on the availability of the cleaning specialists, so that’s a plus for convenience!

It was just disappointing that there’s no guarantee of having the same cleaner. While they try to send the same ones, clients cannot request their preferred cleaners.

Our experience with Toba Cleaning left us with a sparkling impression. Their services radiate efficiency, quality, and affordability, making them a beacon in the cleaning service industry.

The cost-effectiveness of Toba Cleaning’s services pleasantly surprised us. Despite the superior quality delivered, their pricing left our wallets unscathed. It was like a five-star experience at a three-star price. A rare feat, indeed.
