With its operation dating back to 1998, Anand Carpentry & Construction Ltd. (ACC) is one of the seasoned carpenters in Edmonton. We see it as a plus because we’re sure that its decades of experience translate to top-of-the-line work.

ACC is also partnered with five carpentry institutions in the country, the most notable being the Canadian Home Builders. It’s noteworthy because it indicates that its craftsmanship is at par with the industry’s standard.

That said, we’ve found that ACC specializes in woodwork products and provides custom millwork, cabinetry, and on-site finish carpentry. These services would be a great asset for clients looking for custom wood furniture for their homes!

We’re also glad it provides budgeting and technical assistance that clients can find useful should they need it in their project.

But, compared to other carpenters, ACC’s portfolio lacks samples and other helpful details. Aside from hindering clients from properly assessing their work, we see this as a letdown considering the business has been around for over 20 years.

Nevertheless, we’re glad many clients we talked to had fun working with ACC. Most of them happily remarked about the company’s collaborative, prompt, and keen attention to detail–attributes that all services should embody!

Hiring a carpenter that can create almost any type of furnishing is a must-hire in our books. And we’re glad that an all-rounder company such as HandyMan Connection hit this criterion.

Handyman is one of the carpenters in the city that can provide both exterior and interior carpentry services. So it’s great to know whether you need doors, base trim, crown, or even pet or storm doors, you can phone them to build them for you.

In addition to its standard carpentry services, we also like that HandyMan is also available to provide painting, maintenance, and electrical services. We appreciate this because it makes these services easily available to them.

However, it’s a letdown that HandyMan is unavailable on Mondays. Aside from being unusual for its field, we consider this its downside because it’s inconvenient for clients.

Similarly, Handyman also has fewer work samples on its website. We think this is a weakness worth pointing out because having ample photos on the website would allow clients to decide whether the company’s crafts fit their liking.

Also, it’s worth noting that Handyman’s customer service has mixed reception from its customers. Many clients we talked to like its friendly, courteous, and helpful team of carpenters.

On the other hand, we’re disappointed that there were instances wherein the staff were late answering queries or arriving at clients’ homes.

A carpenter’s experience tells so much about the quality and level of their craftsmanship. And with its 25 years of experience in carpentry, we do not doubt that Ben’s Carpentry (BC) Ltd. can help you create your ideal furniture!

It’s worth noting that BC specializes in interior design carpentry.  We think it’s advantageous for clients looking for handrails, spindles, and brackets with specific measurements.

But despite that, we’re also glad it can do general carpentry and cabinetry. Aside from custom works, it’s also a great amenity if you need repair or readjustments on the said types of furniture.

We like the numerous samples showcasing his range of craftsmanship available on BC’s website. Besides that, we also appreciate that it has videos that allow clients to see and judge their work process better than merely looking at pictures.

However, it’s a bit of a letdown that BC’s unavailable on weekends. On the bright side, it’s open on Mondays, which is pretty rare since most carpenters in the area are closed then.

But still, we think extending its operations on Saturdays or Sundays would be helpful for customers. 

Lastly, we are relieved to discover that many clients of BC find its insightful, attentive, and organized behaviour to be a pleasure to work with. For us, this deserves a plus because it entails that BC is easy and efficient to work with.

Scott Arthur Millwork & Cabinetry (SAMC) Ltd. is an Edmontonian carpenter with a wide array of interior carpentry works. Whether it’s something for your kitchen, bathroom, or custom furnishings, we’re sure it can work it out!!

Similarly, SAMC can employ six styles such as wood, thermoplastic, granite, quartz, and others. For us, this is its most notable amenity since it gives clients lots of1 options to explore and use for the interior of their homes.

Aside from its range, SAMC’s experience as a business is noteworthy. It’s been in business since 1992, which is a plus since it means its works have satisfied generations of Edmontonians.

Meanwhile, we also like the quality of SAMC’s portfolio because it has lots of pictures in each category and is curated neatly to showcase the different styles it can provide–a feature many clients would find convenient.

However, like most other carpenters in the area, SAMC is not available on Mondays and weekends. 

Nevertheless, many of its patrons whom we talked to had a great time hiring its team. Plenty of them like that the carpenters are patient and attentive to detail yet have a quick turn-around rate, which are positive characteristics clients deserve.

Having a carpenter that can do all sorts of carpentry work is nothing but relieving. And we’re glad that Edmonton Home Renovations by RRB (EHR) is ready to fill that role for Edmontonians!

EHR can provide ten carpentry services, making it one of the most versatile carpenters in the city. Clients can hire it for almost anything, from crown moulds, flooring, and framing, to finishing, etc., which is great for clients looking for a one-stop company for their project.

It’s also great to know that EHR has sub-trade services, such as plumbing, heating, insulating, etc. We know it can be handy for clients at whichever stage of the project they’re working on.
